The ring was checked at 6:15...ring was soaked, rain was falling, radar showed rain all day.

Mother Nature said "NO".

All fees and registration info will be carried over to Oct. 6, unless we are told otherwise.

Good morning Membership! Happy Wednesday

I am writing this message to everyone as we have had some concerns brought forth last night at our meeting and we are in the process of rectifying all of these issues, This Is another gentle reminder:

#1- Show day apparel- All riders MUST either wear and cowboy hat OR helmet, no ball caps!! Proper western or English attire MUST be worn! If it Is raining, coats and or sweaters are permitted, if it's hot, a SLEEVED t-shirt, NO tank tops.

#2- Excessive whipping and or force on your horse- If you are having troubles getting a horse to the chute and you are using a whip, quirt etc and if after the 1st couple taps your horse does not move- you WILL be asked to back away from the chute and you will be put at the bottom of the order, PLEASE ASK someone around for help in and out of the chute. This is a big one that the executive WILL NOT tolerate. If you are deemed to be using Excessive amounts of force you WILL GET 1 WARNING, next time we have to talk to you, YOU WILL BE EXCUSED FROM THE GROUNDS FOR THE DAY with NO REFUNDS! This rule applies to in and out of the ring, we will be monitoring CLOSELY!

#3- Swearing in and out of the ring- We aren't saints by any means and we know swear words happen BUT please be cognizant of what comes out of your mouth lol.

#4- The area to the left and right of the chute is for horses and riders ONLY! No tents, no chairs, no nothing! Videoing participants is permitted!

#5- ABSOLUTELY no alcohol is permitted on the show grounds!

#6- Cleaning up your trailer sites- please please please clean up your horse manure, and around your trailer as we will lose this venue if we do not respect it!

Show Rules 1) Appropriate dress must be worn at all times. Tack optional, either western or English attire is permitted. (ie.English tack with English attire, Western tack Western attire) Boots with a heel, long pants, jeans or breeches, collared shirt, helmet or cowboy hat. Shirt must be properly fastened.

2) All novice and riders under the age of 18 must wear a helmet. Helmet must meet current standards for equipment designed and manufactured for use while riding horses as established by American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM), British Standard Institute (BSI) and European Safety Standards (ESS) while mounted at all times.

4) Bats, crops, spurs, and over unders are to be permitted. Excessive spurring or cropping or any other abuse of the horse may bring disqualification at the discretion of the Executive, judge, or games convener. 5) Use of abusive language, harassment of the Executive, members, volunteers, contestants or show officials, competing under the influence of drugs or alcohol (will result in disqualification and/ or membership may be revoked at the discretion of the Executive. Alcohol consumption is not permitted on the showgrounds.

6) The Executive decisions are final. Any discourtesy to the convenor or other Executive Directors by a competitor, exhibitor, parent, guardian or coach, etc. may result in dismissal of an individual. "No Refunds"

8) Please clean up your trailer sites. We are guests at ODAS Park and the club does not want to lose the privilege of using the park for our events.
